The receptionist I spoke to today , Kathy , was extremely helpful and understanding . A pleasure to speak to . She dealt with my requests very efficiently and her phone manner was exceptional and caring . She told me how to register for patient access for future use , which I have now done .

I just wanted to advise how helpful Kathy the receptionist was today. I was concerned about a prescription that I am taking and she was extremely helpful as it was not possible to arrange an appointment that quickly. Called at 8 and was seen at 8:50 rceptionist Was so efficient and pleasant it spurred me to ask for her name and write this review. I don't go to the surgery often but appointments have always been on time the doctors are great and I have never felt rushed

Okay where do I start here other than to say THANK YOU ALL at Southborough Lane Surgery.... Having been introduced via a Hub visit one evening to get a simple prescription for my daily High Blood Pressure medication I was totally blown away by the doctor who saw me. He not only took my blood pressure but read my short but interesting history and said the words that I have been longing to hear for a long long time !!! Why haven't you had a Blood Test in recent times and what are you going to do about it !!! I was so impressed with this doctor and his totally professional level of care. He also made a positive amendment to my medication that has stabilised my blood pressure that has really pleased me no end. The follow-up was to have my bloods tested which I did the following week and I'm very very pleased that the results can back in my favour and I was more than pleased with Southborough Lane Surgery so I immediately decided to visit the Surgery and register so that I can experience the same level of medical attention in the future. Its about now that one gets disillusioned when visiting most doctors reception staff. BUT I cannot speak to highly of the reception staff at Southborough Lane Surgery. I was introduced to a ream of forms and paperwork. The lovely lady on the desk while multitasking with normal work duties and people coming in to see doctors and answering questions managed to assist me in the paperwork with a level of professionalism that is a real credit to all there. Nothing was to much trouble and the lovely lady even managed to put my case forward to management as I was just out of there geographic boundary. After filling in the registration paperwork I returned home and after a couple of days received a phone call from Kathy the Southborough Lane Surgery admin manager who made me feel very welcomed when I was told that I had been accepted to the Surgery. Kathy was so professional and explained future procedures when attending and making appointments. To sum this whole thing up can I say, given that I have never attended the surgery before my initial hub appointment and I had no knowledge of anyone there prior to my first appoint I can very truthfully say hand on heart that I am so pleased to be a registered patient of the SouthBorough Lane Surgery and I have already highly recommended it to friends and family. Thank You ALL !!!

I first approached the surgery to liaise with a member of the administrative staff in connection with obtaining written confirmation of my mother's medical condition and how it has made her unable to undertake a long haul flight. I dealt with Laurie Brown and found her extremely helpful, particularly in view of the fact that I am dealing with this matter from 5000 miles away. She assisted me in the production of this information and I want to thank her for her valuable efforts- a refreshing confirmation that there are people who out there who do make a difference!
